The Creative Power of the Word

in Power

In the Book of Genesis, chapter 1, God (Alohim) is actively engaged in the Creative Act of speaking (Psalms 33:9). The Creative Force emanating from Alohim is what is termed "devar", or the Word.

By the Word of THE LORD the heavens were made. And all the host of them by the breath of His Mouth. (Psalms 33:6)

We have the same power to build our world as God built at first. It is also with the words of our mouth that we can destroy our world (Proverbs 18:21). No one can deny the veracity of the power of the Word. The power of the Word should not be underestimated nor can it be overemphasized.

The ancient Egyptians were Masters of the Science of Hekau (Words of Power). The Hebrew Scriptures contain but a small portion of this ancient Egyptian art. Moses was an Adept of the ancient Egyptian art of Hekau. The LORD commanded Moses (whose name is Egyptian in origin) to "speak" to the rock. For his Word alone was sufficient to split the rock (Exodus 20:8).

All sorts of wonders and miracles were wrought by the power of the Word of the Prophets. When Elijah earnestly invoked The Name of THE LORD fire rained from the heavens (I Kings 18:36-38). The praising of God through song, by the Apostle Paul and Silas, was such a force that it caused a great earthquake (Acts 16:25-26). The "power" given to the Two Witnesses (proceeding as Fire from their mouths) is the Devar/Word of God (Revelation 11:5).

The power of the Word is still available as it was in the days of the Prophets. This ability is granted by God to those who utilize it for unselfish purposes. This power may be obtained by an alternative means to be used toward selfish ends; but, to the detriment of ones soul.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. (John 10:1)

The Hebrew Bible amounts to what is but a drop from the vast Ocean of Ancient Egyptian Wisdom. Certain chapters and verses from the Books of the Psalms can serve as Words of Power to escape the coming Tribulation and the wrath of the Beast.

The Universe exists as the Thought of God. So it is with the power of Thought and Sound that we can build our world on low as the Supreme Architect built On High.

As it was in the beginning, so it will be at the end. Righteous men and women (who possess the Knowledge of Hekau) will collaborate to create a New World! The new creation will transpire in our present cycle, which is the Messianic Millennium, or the Aquarian Age. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor can we conceive how the New World will be! The New Heaven and the New Earth is the direct result of the New Mind of the Righteous. The seeds of the New World have been planted in the hearts of the saints of The Most High. The seed of the New World gestates in the collective heart and mind of the persecuted and oppressed. These are they who have a hope for the New World.

There is no limit to the heights that the Righteous will attain. The builders of the tower of Babel (modern day 'Iraq) exemplified how men motivated toward mere secular and political pursuits possessed the power to effect global change (Genesis 11:6). Once the Righteous unite for a common cause, nothing they plan to do will be impossible. When men's minds are aligned with the Will of God success in any endeavor is assured (Proverbs 16:3).
